RadioPro Talk – Support for Legacy IP Gateway Versions Ending
CTI Products will be ending support for legacy versions of the RadioPro IP Gateway in a future release of RadioPro Talk.
This change will apply to gateway versions prior to 8.1.13.
At this time, legacy gateways will continue to operate normally. However, users connecting to older gateways will begin seeing notifications indicating that support for these versions will be removed in a future RadioPro Talk release.
Why This Change Is Being Made
Earlier versions of the RadioPro IP Gateway use older communication mechanisms that are no longer aligned with current software and security practices.
Which Gateway Versions Are Affected
This change applies to RadioPro IP Gateway versions earlier than 8.1.13.
Customers using version 8.1.13 or later will not be affected.
What Customers Should Do
Customers running older gateway versions should contact their RadioPro dealer about upgrading their RadioPro IP Gateway software.
Upgrading ensures continued compatibility with future RadioPro Talk releases and provides access to the latest improvements and features.
If you are unsure which gateway version you are running, your RadioPro dealer can assist with identifying your system configuration.
Timeline
At this time:
- Legacy gateways will continue to function
- RadioPro Talk will begin displaying upgrade notifications
Support removal will occur in a future RadioPro Talk release, allowing customers time to plan upgrades if necessary.
